{"id":2036,"date":"2002-12-12T11:55:24","date_gmt":"2002-12-12T11:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bob.ryskamp.org\/brain\/?p=2036"},"modified":"2002-12-12T11:55:24","modified_gmt":"2002-12-12T11:55:24","slug":"other-digital-signage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bob.ryskamp.org\/brain\/other-digital-signage\/","title":{"rendered":"Other Digital Signage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2002\/12\/12\/technology\/circuits\/12post.html\">some pretty cool stuff<\/a> in the ny times today.  looks like the technology ISIS is exploring is, surprise surprise, also being researched and implemented by for-profit advertising agencies.  the coolest one mentioned was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkingpictures.com\/\">Thinking Pictures<\/a>, an <a href=\"http:\/\/xenia.media.mit.edu\/~gilberte\/Startups.html\">MIT Media Lab spinoff<\/a> with a guy named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?ie=utf8&#038;oe=utf8&#038;q=stephan+fitch+thinking+pictures\">Stephan Fitch<\/a> in charge. They were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stones.com\/retro\/Press.html\">one of the first companies<\/a> to use this thing called the &#8220;World Wide Web&#8221;, as well.
